These classes are promote the students' consciousness of the world around them. The world is getting much "smaller" every day that it has ever been. Our students are being trained to recognize their place in the world around them. We will assist them by providing a panoramic view of the world, both as a geographical entity and a social entity.
"How Do I Get To..." : Given a blank map, the students will be able to identify all the continents, most of the countries in North America, and the 50 states of the U.S.A.
"Where in the World Is": Where is Comoros? Do you know? This is a fun class designed to introduce the students to countries that they may never hear or read about. They will learn tid-bits and other distinctives about these countries.
"Who is my Neighbor?: This class utilizes a lot of guest speakers from different parts of the world. These speakers will introduce our students to their world.
